A crucial part in DEAR’s work are workshops based on active learning, which balance technical and manual work with a playful attitude.
We create opportunities to engage with others, to build bridges towards the outside world, and to open up new physical and psychological spaces that can go beyond the daily constraints imposed by treatments: users socialize, relax, and learn, because by enhancing their knowledge and by exploring their creative potential they truly express themselves and feel fulfilled. We believe this is one of the best ways they can take care of themselves.
Our workshops develop within a research journey, which is constantly monitored. By analyzing and reporting data on our activity we are defining an original method, and setting forth guidelines to replicate and scale it up.
