We want to make every place of care and fragility a place of well-being and cultural inclusion.

DEAR supports the right to health understood as a dynamic balance of physical, emotional and social well-being, in line with the concept of quality of life, recognized by the WHO and our Constitution as a fundamental right of the individual and the community.

Our values are care, inclusion, and professionalism; we believe that humanizing means taking care of people and places, including all the actors of the ecosystems in which we go to intervene (patients, caregivers, health personnel, etc.) and that to do so it is necessary to involve various professionals, called from time to time. aimed at comparing and networking their knowledge.

With the practices of humanization we intend to recognize meaning and dignity in places that risk being deprived of them. Both care and detention spaces, although they welcome and assist the social marginalized, present critical elements that make them extraneous. The environment is new and unknown, the separation from the outside world is clear, relationships are governed by different mechanisms and even time seems to flow dilated: all factors that have a strong psychological and physiological impact.

Dear uses creativity as a humanization tool to:

– intervene on the physical space, in the awareness that architecture has a social role and that well-designed spaces attentive to psycho-sensorial stimuli can help the well-being of all users;
– planning the time of treatment to offer opportunities for cultural inclusion to people living in conditions of fragility and disease;
– help those who work in care settings to make the best use of their resources to improve processes, relationships, tools.
